Job Title: Anti-Counterfeiting and Trademark Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Anti-Counterfeiting and Trademark Litigation Associate will be responsible for assisting with trademark and copyright litigation matters, with a specific focus on anti-counterfeiting litigation and online enforcement. Key duties include:
- Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting complaints and applications for Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) and preliminary injunctions.
- Managing high-volume discovery processes.
- Taking depositions and preparing dispositive motions and settlement agreements.
- Working collaboratively within a team while taking ownership of key case aspects and developing leadership skills from an early stage.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for this position should have:
- 3-4 years of litigation experience.
- Experience with all aspects of litigation, including managing written discovery, brief writing, and deposition taking and/or preparation.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- A self-motivated and flexible approach to work.
- Prior experience at a regional or national law firm is preferred.
- Admission to practice law in Illinois or eligibility to waive in.
Salary Information:
The expected pay range for the Anti-Counterfeiting and Trademark Litigation Associate position is $250,000 - $275,000 per year. Salary determination will be based on education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials where applicable. Full-time employees may also be eligible for:
