Organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant District Attorney with Trial Experience to join our team in Rensselaer County. This is a full-time position with a salary starting at $107,000 per year.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Bar license and a Doctoral degree. They should also have at least two years of relevant experience, with preference given to those with previous prosecution experience. US Citizenship and New York State Residency are required for this position.
As an Assistant District Attorney, your responsibilities will include assisting the District Attorney in presenting criminal cases in court, analyzing cases and preparing them for trial, and interviewing victims and witnesses to collect evidence. You will also be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, and presenting cases in court. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle a high volume of cases and investigations.
