Job Duties:
• Providing legal representation and advice in complex cases in State and Federal court
• Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
• Investigating, conducting legal research, and appearing in court
• Responding to inquiries from law enforcement and the general public
• Attending meetings and trainings as necessary
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable statutes, case law, and court rules
• Skill in persuasive oral and written communication
• Ability to identify issues, analyze and articulate legal arguments, and assess evidence
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, and direct complex investigations and cases
• Ability to coordinate with various agencies and encourage teamwork
• Ability to exercise good judgment and apply ethical standards in daily practice
