Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge and success in roles involving tax-related intricacies of partnership structures and related transactions within private partnerships, such as M&A.
- Expertise in interpreting and applying relevant aspects of US Tax Code sections relating to partnership structures.
- Experience in consulting and modeling for a wide range of M&A and equity transactions.
- Engaging in marketing and business development efforts.
- Proficiency in interpreting, preparing, and processing multiple information streams to calculate partnership allocations and reconcile outcomes.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines to design and implement system and process enhancements.
- Skilled in creating and leveraging complex spreadsheets and data analytic tools, as well as writing and presenting to various industry audiences.
- Participating in client discussions and meetings and communicating a broad range of firm services.
- Managing engagements with concise and accurate written communication.
- Balancing project economics management with unanticipated issues.
- Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, motivate members, and promote continuous improvement and innovation.
- Demonstrates success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment, including working with large data sets, building models, and using data visualization tools.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
