A well-established plaintiff-side law firm based in Houston, TX, is partnering with a legal recruitment agency to identify a dedicated and team-oriented associate attorney. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside seasoned litigators on a wide range of civil litigation matters, particularly in the field of first-party insurance claims. The role is designed for early-career professionals eager to develop litigation skills while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Duties:

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation matters across both state and federal jurisdictions

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents under supervision

• Participate in hearings, depositions, and negotiations as experience permits

• Progress toward managing a personal docket of litigation cases from inception to resolution

• Support attorneys on complex litigation matters requiring team-based coordination

• Maintain regular communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

• Integrate feedback from senior attorneys into daily legal practice

Requirements:

• Admission to the Texas Bar

• 0-4 years of legal practice experience

• Interest or prior exposure to first-party insurance litigation is an asset

• Willingness to collaborate and learn in a team-oriented environment

• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

• Professionalism and empathy when working with clients in distress

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing license to practice law in Texas (required)
