Job Responsibilities:
The Case Assistant will join the department at the law firm, focusing on motions, unresponsive clients, disengagements, and dismissals. The candidate must be an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented individual who is a quick learner, able to take direction well, and unafraid to seek clarification and ask questions when necessary. The role requires exercising sound discretion and judgment, as there will be significant direct contact with clients who may be under stress and feel overwhelmed. Key duties include:
- Communicating effectively and empathizing with clients while gathering necessary information via phone and email.
- Being detail-oriented and organized, professional, reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines.
- Tracking work effectively, auditing, and prioritizing tasks appropriately.
- Managing electronic information, document management, and document review.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have experience with case management software programs, preferably FileVine. Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, a team player, reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. The position offers the ability to work remotely. A is required.
Salary Information:
The position offers a salary range of to per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
