Job Title: Senior Associate - Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Patent Prosecution
Job Responsibilities:
The senior associate will be responsible for overseeing and managing patent preparation and prosecution for a diverse client base, focusing on electrical engineering and software-related technologies. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and filing high-quality patent applications.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
- Supervising and mentoring associates to support their professional growth.
- Focusing on technologies related to graphics processing units, tensor processing units, accelerators, neural engines, and robotics circuitry and actuators.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess:
- At least six years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
- An undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics.
- A high level of academic achievement.
- Solid law firm experience.
- Superb writing and communication skills.
- JD and active bar admission in the jurisdiction in which the candidate intends to practice.
- Admission to the USPTO.
Salary Information:
The salary for this position will range between $245,000 - $390,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance. The role is eligible for the following firm benefits:

Additional Information:
The position is available in multiple offices, including Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Washington, DC, Houston, Kansas City, or Phoenix, with a preference for Washington, DC, or San Francisco.
