Job Title: Health Care Transactions Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent various sectors of health care services, including physician practices, telemedicine companies, and numerous health care entities and systems.
- Work with venture and private equity investors focused on health care and life sciences.
- Possess and apply knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments and their impact on health care transactions and daily business matters.
- Draft sophisticated transactional documents.
- Manage complex projects and matters.
- Train and mentor junior associates.
- Assist in advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Health Care Practice Group.
- Engage in direct interaction with senior partners and clients.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where they are admitted to practice.
- Candidates should possess 3-6 years of transactional experience, particularly with health-care focused clients.
- AmLaw 100 experience is preferred.
- Excellent academic credentials are required.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice and a collegial environment is essential.
- Strong writing and communication skills are necessary.
- Candidates should have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic.
Salary Information:
- The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 - $390,000.
- Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at the law firm, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
