Law Firm Seeking Legal Administrative Assistant with 3-5 years of experience
Position: Legal Administrative Assistant

Join a collaborative team in a fast-paced law firm with a small firm feel. **Members Only** is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant in Business to join our team in Charleston. We are a top AM200 law firm focused on providing our clients with the very best representation. Our office culture values appreciation and respect for all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents
- Assist with large transactional closings
- Maintain electronic document management system
- Manage Outlook calendars, if needed
- Enter daily time in Aderant accounting software, if needed
- Process reimbursements and check requests, if needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and continuous learning environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe
- Experience with iManage and Aderant a plus
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage workload
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs
- Work collaboratively with others
- Professionalism and good judgment
- Ability to meet deadlines on multiple transactions simultaneously
- Able to work on complex document mark-ups
- Maintain multiple calendars in Outlook with meeting dates and deadlines
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years’ experience as a legal administrative assistant
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and/or working on a computer
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
- Usual work hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 . (one-hour lunch)
- Overtime work may be required from time to time
