Law Firm Seeks Project Finance Senior Associate

Holland & Knight, a leading law firm, is currently seeking a highly qualified senior associate to join our Financial Services Practice. We are looking for someone with 4-6 years of experience in project finance, specifically in "plain vanilla" project financings, tax equity bridge loans, backleverage financings, and pre-NTP financings. Both lender and borrower-side experience is ideal for this position.

Job Description:

As a Project Finance Senior Associate, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating credit facilities, letters of credit, performance and payments bonds, and other project documents. You should also be comfortable conducting bankability analysis of project documents and negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, balance of plant agreements, supply agreements, and offtake and tolling agreements. Additionally, you will be expected to independently negotiate and manage associated security documents, NY-law legal opinions, and direct agreements/consents to collateral assignments and reliance letters. Strong due diligence skills are a must for this role.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have 4-6 years of experience in project finance on either the lender or borrower side. Extensive experience drafting PF credit agreements, New York law-governed security documents, consents to collateral assignments, legal opinions, and project documents is required. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, a team player, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials are also a must for this position.

Location and Salary Information:

This position may be filled in New York, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Austin, or Washington, DC. The candidate must reside and be licensed or ready to become licensed to practice law in one of these jurisdictions. In accordance with state and city laws, the pay range for this position is $310,000 - $390,000 per year. This range may vary depending on the specific location and an individual's qualifications and experience.
