Job Title: WM Senior Trust Officer
Job Responsibilities:
The WM Senior Trust Officer is responsible for the administration, risk management, and servicing of assigned fiduciary and investment management accounts. This role may involve relationship management responsibilities as well as specialization in products such as IRAs, Charitable/Philanthropic Accounts, ILITs, and Estates. The officer will likely work as part of a team of experts, where tasks are assigned based on complexity. They are accountable for the servicing and retention of existing accounts and must administer accounts in compliance with governing documents, state statutes, and company policies and procedures. The role requires meeting all corporate and regulatory compliance standards.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Candidates should have 10 or more years of experience in Trust administration.
- A Professional Designation is required, which may include CTFA, CFP, JD, CPA, or being a Graduate of the National Trust School Program.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Considerable knowledge of estate settlement, income, estate and multi-generational taxation, and trusts.
- Thorough understanding of fiduciary law, tax implications, and practices in multiple jurisdictions, trust accounting/reporting, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong project and information management skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills.
- Well-developed customer service/relations skills.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the WM Senior Trust Officer role is between $119, and $140,. The actual salary may vary based on the role's location. In addition to the salary, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contributions, and pension plans. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
