Litigation Case Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Case Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at supporting litigation attorneys, specifically in managing asbestos-related matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring asbestos filings and managing electronic filings in the law firm's Access database.
- E-filing various pleadings in Missouri and Illinois courts.
- Typing, producing, editing, and proofreading various legal documents and correspondence.
- Providing overall assistance with asbestos processes and various other administrative tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 1+ years of legal or law firm experience working in litigation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe is required.
- Experience with Access is preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, proofreading, and customer service skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

The wage for this position depends on experience.
