Overview:

KPMG is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join their International Tax practice. Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance to multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location, operations, choice of entity, supply chain optimization, and accessing capital
- Advise clients on tax planning decisions, considering their tax risk profile, global effective tax rate, and cash posture
- Collaborate with Mergers & Acquisition Tax team to structure tax aspects of private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs
- Assist with tax provision preparation for financial statements and compliance work product
- Give guidance on income tax treaty planning opportunities for cross-border investing and trading activities
- Provide services to alternative investment companies, helping at all stages of the investment life cycle

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA, EA, JD/LLM or foreign equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements and supervise and mentor staff professionals
- Able to develop and deepen client relationships and expand the KPMG footprint in local and global markets
