Salary Range: $66,570 - $151,580 (depending on experience)
Position Summary:
**Members Only**'s Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) practice provides government credits and incentives services to clients worldwide. The Gi3 team is a national team of over 1,000 specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive tax services in over 150 countries. We are seeking a Tax Senior with a passion for sustainability, community development, or cutting-edge research and development, and relevant experience in credits and incentives. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the world's largest companies in a variety of industries and be on the forefront of a rapidly growing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage federal credits and incentives opportunities
- Advise clients on potential benefits and eligibility requirements
- Maintain and develop strong internal and client relationships
- Utilize technical skills to solve complex issues
- Mentor and motivate team members
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions to leadership
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of engagement deliverables
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments
The Team:
**Members Only**'s National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) practice offers a variety of tax services to the largest organizations across all industries. The Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3) tax team is a national team of specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive tax credit and incentive services, including Research and Development credit, New Market Tax Credit, Qualified Opportunity Zones, Renewable Energy tax credits, and other federal credits.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in related field
- Knowledge of R&D tax incentives and/or experience with other federal credits
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and develop relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, PMP, CFA, or Professional Engineer
Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM
- Experience with tax technical research
- Experience with Federal or State and Local C&I
- Experience with sustainability technologies or environmental sciences
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA or law firm
