# Associate Attorney (Hybrid) ## Trusted Defense Trial Counsel and Legal Advisors MCB Law Firm is currently seeking to hire an Associate Attorney (2+ years of experience) in our Long Island Office. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of New York's leading litigation defense firms. Our Associates work with prominent trial lawyers in representing hospitals, university medical centers, physicians, nurses, dentists, oral surgeons and other health care professionals in medical and dental liability actions. ### Candidate Qualifications: - JD from an accredited law school - Admission to NY bar - 2+ years civil litigation experience (medical malpractice defense focus preferred) - Excellent communication skills (written and oral) ### Skills / Experience: - Superior legal acumen - Self - starter who takes ownership of executing tasks - Ability to manage and prioritize large and complex case-load - Effective Team player ### Responsibilities: - Drafting/reviewing/responding to discovery documents - Conducting and/or defending depositions - Court appearances - Motion practice - Performing legal/medical research The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000.
