Responsibilities:

H2: Responsibilities Include:

- Conducting legal research and analysis on community association and real property issues
- Drafting legal documents, including governing/corporate documents, contracts, and agreements
- Assisting with case management and preparation for client meetings, court hearings, and local government meetings/hearings
- Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and negotiating settlements
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients and staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with proficiency in legal research tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

This is a full-time position located in Tallahassee or Sarasota, with the possibility of opening an office in another Florida city for candidates with a portable book of business.

The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years of experience in providing general counsel services to community associations or other business entities. Superior research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills are required for this position. The role primarily involves providing general counsel services, with some light courtroom appearances or pleading drafting in support of the firm's litigation counsel. A portable book of business is a plus and would be considered in the overall compensation package offered, but it is not required.
