Corporate Counsel - Labor Relations

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all legal affairs of the company, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
• Report to the CFO and provide legal advice to management on various issues
• Manage legal budget and outside counsel
• Ensure corporate governance for all corporate entities in the legal structure
• Collaborate with management to create effective defense strategies
• Research and evaluate risk factors for business decisions
• Offer proactive advice on legal issues and risk management techniques
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties
• Draft and review legal documents and contracts
• Handle complex matters involving multiple stakeholders
• Clarify legal language and specifications for all employees
• Conduct work with integrity and responsibility
• Stay updated on changes in legislation
• Participate in litigation and manage insurance matters
• Develop and maintain company policies and procedures
• Handle mergers and acquisitions
• Manage intellectual property portfolio
• Ensure compliance with global data privacy laws and other regulations
• Support Human Resources with labor and employment law advisement
• Monitor client contracts for compliance and privacy concerns
• Attend work regularly and adhere to schedule

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's or JD preferred
• 3+ years experience in corporate legal services or law firm
• Strong understanding of corporate law and procedures
• Ability to create legal strategies and analyze situations
• High ethics and integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to oversee and direct others
• Advanced analytical abilities
• Ability to plan and manage operations and activities
• Understanding of Corporate Compliance & Privacy programs
• Credibility, independence, confidentiality, and trust

Salary Information:
