Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of loans during the pendency of the lawsuit, ensuring that all legal proceedings are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Draft and review pleadings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards and procedures.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as required, representing the interests of mortgage lenders and servicers.
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and legal processes.
Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor degree is required.
- Admission to the South Carolina Bar is mandatory.
- The candidate should possess 2-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in foreclosure.
- The ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence is essential.
