Job Title: Workers' Compensation Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The Workers' Compensation Attorney will be tasked with various responsibilities critical to the role. These include:
- Responding to client inquiries promptly and maintaining effective communication with clients to keep them informed about case statuses and updates, following client protocols and law firm guidelines.
- Demonstrating strong negotiating and litigation skills, essential for handling workers' compensation cases.
- Working independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and extraordinary attention to detail.
- Prioritizing tasks efficiently and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of practices and procedures related to workers' compensation law.
- Developing positive communication with support staff and attending client functions as required.
- Entering time accurately on a daily basis with appropriate descriptions.
- Performing other duties and/or special projects as assigned by direct reports.
- Utilizing technology comfortably, including operating within a paperless system.
Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must be admitted to the California Bar and reside in the Southern California area.
- Experience in workers' compensation law is necessary, with a preference for candidates with defense experience.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and exhibit strong organizational skills.
Salary Information:
- The salary for the Workers' Compensation Attorney position ranges from $85,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
