Job Title: Employee Benefits Consulting Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the design and compliance of qualified retirement plans as well as executive compensation engagements.
- Develop innovative and strategic solutions to address prospects' and clients' benefits needs and issues.
- Take on a mentorship role within the team and contribute to future leadership by building strong client relationships and promoting all areas of employee benefits consulting and compliance.
- Build and develop new client business and cultivate new business within the existing client base.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A Juris Doctor or an advanced degree in tax or human resources is preferred.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience is required, including experience with accounting, consulting, or law firms serving the middle market, or in-house benefits and/or compensation experience.
- Solid working knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of plan design of qualified and nonqualified plans is essential. Demonstrated expertise in some or all of the following Code Sections: 409A, 3121(v), 457, 280G, 162(m), 4960, 401(a), 401(k), and 403(b) is required.
- A desire to build and cultivate new client business is necessary. Experience with business development is preferred, but not required.

Salary Information:
- For Colorado and Illinois applicants, the monthly base salary range is $8, to $13,.
- Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with applicable state requirements.
- A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff.
- The position offers a robust benefits package, including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, which are effective on the first of the month following the start date.
- Eligible staff can also take advantage of Flexible Time Off, various pre-determined holidays, a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging, and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A pension plan is available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff.
- Interns and contractors have the option to elect health insurance under the contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment, in addition to limited paid sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
