Summary:
Grant Thornton is seeking a Cyber Privacy and Data Protection Manager to join their team in various locations including Bellevue, WA, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, and more. As a Manager in their Privacy and Data Protection practice, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-industry clients, grow your skills, and contribute to their business needs. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience, along with certifications in CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, or other related certifications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations and frameworks, experience with privacy assessments and program implementations, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. The base salary range for this position varies by location and ranges from $144,000 to $248,400.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to professional standards and maintain client confidentiality
- Manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced, team environment
- Apply knowledge of privacy and data protection trends to improve processes
- Lead execution of client engagements, including planning, directing, and completing assessments, program implementations, and managed services
- Work with clients to define objectives and address privacy-related risks and issues
- Interact with key client management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with team members to develop and market privacy and data protection solutions
- Support business development activities, including proposal development and networking
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Juris Doctorate, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar consulting practice or function at a national level
- One or more of the following certifications: CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, or related
- Deep understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations and frameworks
- Experience with privacy assessments and program implementations
- Familiarity with privacy tools such as OneTrust, , WireWheel, and BigID
- Strong project management skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
