Job Title: Global Head of Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the company's global litigation portfolio, which includes managing complex commercial, regulatory, class action, and other high-stakes matters across various global jurisdictions.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, providing clear and business-savvy counsel on litigation exposure, risk, and dispute resolution.
- Define and drive a cohesive global litigation strategy that protects the company’s interests while enabling innovation and growth.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of litigators across multiple geographies.
- Represent the company in key legal proceedings, including depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearings.
- Collaborate with leaders across Legal, Government Relations, Communications, Compliance, and other business functions to align litigation strategies with broader company objectives and reputational considerations.

Education and Experience Information:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record.
- Admitted to practice in New York or California, or eligible for in-house registration in one of these states.
- Significant litigation experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a global tech or media company.
- Proven track record managing complex, high-stakes litigation in global, matrixed organizations.
- Expertise across multiple legal domains, including commercial litigation, data privacy, IP, antitrust, platform liability, employment law, and First Amendment issues.
- Global perspective and comfort operating in international legal and regulatory environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strategic thinker with uncompromising integrity and sound judgment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience advising senior leadership and external partners.

Salary Information:
For Pay Transparency, the base salary range for this position in the selected city is $320,000 - $492,800 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
