A highly regarded law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4 to 7 years of litigation experience to join its Mass Tort and Product Liability practice in Minneapolis. This position is ideal for an attorney who has experience in complex litigation, including mass torts, product liability, and class action matters. Location:

  • Minneapolis, Minnesota

Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex litigation matters, including mass tort and product liability cases

  • Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and reports

  • Participate in strategy development and client communications

  • Handle depositions, expert discovery, and trial preparation as appropriate

  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a litigation team

  • Manage case timelines, ensure compliance with court deadlines, and support senior attorneys in high-stakes litigation

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of general litigation experience

  • Prior exposure to mass tort and product liability litigation (class action experience is a plus)

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage litigation tasks efficiently

  • Strong client service focus and effective collaboration skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Minnesota (required)

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing abilities

  • Skilled in oral and written advocacy

  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with high attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills

  • Proficiency with litigation support tools and case management systems
