Job Title: Senior Associate - Aviation Liability
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Associate in Aviation Liability at the law firm will be responsible for various litigation tasks within the aviation, aerospace, automotive, and product litigation and regulatory practice. The candidate will represent a diverse clientele, including airlines, airports, municipalities, automotive manufacturers, government contractors, retailers, and manufacturers of commercial, aviation, space, military, and consumer products, as well as their insurers. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking depositions, arguing motions, and attending court hearings and mediations as required.
- Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents.
- Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and drafting memoranda.
- Preparing status reports and recommendations to clients.
- Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation.
- Managing all aspects of litigation, from the initial responsive pleading through trial.
Education and Experience:
Candidates for the Senior Associate position should ideally have experience in aviation, products liability, and automotive warranty. Preferred qualifications include:

- Familiarity with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
- State and Federal court experience.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Senior Associate - Aviation Liability position is between $195,000 and $220,000. This range considers various factors in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is noted that it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
