Job Title: Engagement Consultation Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Partners, Principals, Managing Directors (PPMDs), Senior Managers, and leadership across the company to provide guidance on engagement-related independence matters.
- Analyze services and relationships with clients in light of independence requirements, including situations involving client mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs.
- Review client corporate or investment structures, investment interests, and terms to identify affiliates as defined by independence rules.
- Conduct research and analysis, draft conclusions and communications, and strategize next steps in coordination with senior team members.
- Develop an understanding of AICPA, SEC, and PCAOB independence rules and company’s Independence policies.
- Interpret and implement new and existing regulations relating to permissible non-attest services for company’s US entities.
- Participate in policy setting by performing research and drafting communications to raise awareness and understanding of independence rules.
- Create and revise training courses and materials to address rule changes and new interpretations identified during consultations with regulators.
- Work on special projects independently and collaboratively with PPMDs and engagement teams, involving senior members as necessary.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, business, compliance, or legal.
- 5 - 8+ years of related experience, ideally in a professional services role and environment.
- Proficient in using standard office-productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams.
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on work requirements and client engagements.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and/or analysis and interpretation of rules, regulations, and standards.
- Experience in public accounting.
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards.
- . CPA and/or advanced degree in related areas such as finance, accounting, business, or law.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is estimated to be between $114,600 and $191,000, taking into account factors like skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the location where the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each case, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where awards depend on individual and organizational performance.
