Are you an experienced Collections Specialist looking for a new opportunity? Look no further than Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states. We are currently seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team and work from any of our nationwide offices. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with clients regarding delinquent accounts, negotiating payment plans, and researching and resolving problems with the help of billing and handling attorneys.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate with clients regarding delinquent accounts
- Prepare and send collection e-mails
- Negotiate payment plans
- Research, analyze, and resolve problems by coordinating with billing and handling attorneys
- Perform account reconciliations
- Interact effectively with employees and clients of varied backgrounds
- Utilize computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of legal billing systems preferred
- Familiarity with the appeals and deductions process
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks quickly
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Some college experience in accounting preferred

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable at a law firm
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate persuasively
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of legal billing systems preferred
- Familiarity with the appeals and deductions process
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Some college experience in accounting preferred
