As an Employment Litigation Associate, you will have the opportunity to defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide range of labor and employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination. You will also have the chance to advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues. Your responsibilities will include representing employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration for employment matters such as class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
To be successful in this role, you must have a JD from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials and at least 2 years of employment or commercial litigation experience. An employment law background is strongly preferred. You must also have current OH Bar admission in good standing and an understanding of current agency procedures at the state and federal level. Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
