Job Responsibilities:
The Intellectual Property Associate in the Litigation department will primarily focus on patent litigation. Education and Experience Information:
Candidates are expected to have one to three years of experience in intellectual property litigation. A background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is strongly encouraged, as it provides a technical foundation beneficial for handling patent-related matters. Additionally, candidates who have experience serving as a federal judicial law clerk are also strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must possess excellent academic credentials, demonstrating a strong legal foundation and analytical skills necessary for the role.
Salary Information:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $255,000. The actual starting salary may vary based on the candidate's relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location where the position is filled. The salary is a component of the law firm's total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses, life, health, accident, and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid position, generally requiring two to three days in the office, providing flexibility and a balance between remote and in-office work. The position is available across multiple offices, including Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington ., and Wilmington.
