Job Title: Client Intake Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Client Intake Specialist at the law firm is responsible for managing the intake process, which includes organizing and tracking new client data and processing new matter memos. This role supports the firm on a national level and involves several key responsibilities:
- Conducting conflict checks for new clients for attorneys in the local office.
- Receiving and organizing case documents and correspondence required for new matter processes.
- Creating litigation hold letters for attorney approval if the new client is involved in litigation.
- Processing new matter memos for the local office and entering them into the Aderant software application.
- Verifying correct client rates by reviewing matter descriptions and practice areas.
- Reviewing documentation for new client rates and entering new rates into the system.
- Reviewing and confirming client billing addresses, contact information, and adjuster contact information, if applicable.
- Assigning new client matter numbers and uploading new matter memos and respective documents to iManage.

Education and Experience Information:
- Experience with LawTime, Aderant, or equivalent accounting software is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a legal or law firm environment is required.
- The role demands attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- A proactive work ethic and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and good judgment are necessary.
- The ability to adapt based on shifting priorities is important.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications is required.
- The candidate should be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Client Intake Specialist position ranges from a minimum of $52,000 to a maximum of $55,000 per year.
