Contact Us Associate Attorney The candidate will work directly with opposing counsel, consumers, and authorized parties. Accountable for accessing and acting upon e-mails and telephonic communications sent to the firm regarding settlements. Gain substantial knowledge of the litigation process; internal controls and client and firm policies and procedures. Daily monitoring of the relevant Spreadsheet, Power of Attorney (POA) email box, response to settlements and pleading as needed, management of both telephonic and written contact with opposing counsel and consumer, accurately documenting of the firm's system of record (CLS), provide sent and received emails to designated firm staff as required.

The candidate must have a Juris Doctorate degree and admittance to Illinois Bar. (Additional licenses in BG states are valuable); expert knowledge of all applicable Federal and State collection laws; ability to accurately type 40 words per minute; strong written and oral communication skills; above-average spelling and grammar; demonstrated ability to think independently and use good judgment; fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; analytical problem solving skills; understand Company and Client policies and procedures to ensure files are documented properly; Courtroom experience is a plus; Collections Law experience is a plus; the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
