Job Title: Managing Director, Forensics
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop business through relationships, contacts, and other opportunities.
- Lead, manage, and direct staff in performing analysis, examination, review, assessment, and testing in a variety of client engagements.
- Serve as a designated point of contact with client personnel on engagements, requiring strong communication skills and presence.
- Engage actively in client discussions and meetings, delivering clear, concise, and accurate documents and requests.
- Analyze the current business environment, understand client needs, assess risks, and identify recommendations/areas of improvement.
- Lead the development of business opportunities and proposals.
- Develop industry-specific thought leadership articles and communications.
- Develop and execute a business development plan identifying business opportunities for the Forensics Practice and other business lines.
- Aid in the development of targeted and industry-specific marketing materials.
- Monitor and implement industry trends and best practices; create a positive, team-focused environment.
- Supervise the day-to-day workload of various staff assigned to assist with pursuits and opportunities.
- Act as Career Advisor to Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates.
- Evaluate the performance of Compliance Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates and assist in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development.
- Other duties as required.
Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, required.
- MBA or JD, preferred.
Experience:
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in developing business and managing relationships, required.
Software Skills:
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required.
- Experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer risk rating tools, preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong business development skills through relationships, contacts, and other opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills.

Salary Information:
Individual salaries offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $200,000 - $400,000
Maryland Range: $200,000 - $400,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $200,000 - $400,000
