Position: Insurance Coverage Associate
Location: Uniondale, NY (with options to work remotely)
Salary Range: $115,000 - $195,000 (annualized)
Job Description:
As an insurance coverage associate at **Members Only**, you will be responsible for handling a variety of insurance coverage matters. This includes conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. We are seeking someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience, with a strong interest in insurance coverage (not insurance defense). Experience in this area is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on insurance coverage issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court and at mediation or arbitration proceedings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to insurance coverage
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage (preferred)
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Juris Doctor degree and admission to the New York State Bar
