Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on commercial technology contracts.
- Provide legal advice on various legal matters, primarily emphasizing drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements for customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various standard and non-standard contracts and related documents to support business needs and initiatives. Representative agreement types include Software Licensing Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, vendor agreements, marketing agreements, and distribution, resale, and other channel agreements.
- Identify commercial, legal, and compliance risks arising from existing and contemplated commercial transactions and initiatives.
- Monitor legal, legislative, and regulatory trends applicable to the business, such as data privacy, security, and data protection laws.
- Collaborate with other departments globally to ensure consistency of advice.
- Report matters as required to the Legal Director.
- Lead other legal and compliance projects as requested.

Education and Experience Information:
- Law degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law.
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and oral negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize high-priority tasks.
- Capacity to hit the ground running and enjoy working alongside senior stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior in-house experience in a fast-paced environment working to tight deadlines.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a helpful attitude.
- Understanding of business challenges and working to develop sensible and commercially reasonable compromise positions.
- International experience and data privacy expertise are desired but not essential.
