Appellate Attorney (Counsel or Senior Counsel) – California Offices

Law Firm Seyfarth is seeking an Appellate Attorney for one of their California offices, including Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles – Century City and Los Angeles – Downtown. As an Appellate Attorney in the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll have the chance to work on interesting and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.
The Opportunity:

The Day-to-Day:
- Work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Handle complex and detail-oriented work on a sustained basis
- Use your analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills to deliver winning briefs and compelling oral arguments
You Have:
- At least 10 to 15 years of significant litigation experience
- Strong interest and ability in research, analysis, and brief writing
- Prior experience handling appellate briefing and arguing appeals is a plus
- Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to think outside the box, and a knack for finding practical solutions to complex problems
- Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of California

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this role is $255,000 to $340,000
- An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including education, qualifications, experience, and business or organizational needs
- This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay
