Criminal Defense Attorney The candidate will be making a top-notch first impression with potential new clients (PNCs). Conducting phone appointments and interacting with clients in the office. Gathering information to determine a prospective client's needs and appropriately quoting fees for representation. Communicating with various courts in the area. Approving legal contracts (in collaboration with the Intake team). Operating client management software. Writing briefs and conducting legal research. Appearing in court for hearings and trials. Managing the own docket and schedule appropriately. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited institution is required. Should have 3+ years of criminal legal experience. Trial Experience is required. Prior experience in criminal defense is preferred. Should be licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas, and in good standing. Spanish skills are preferred.
