Job Title: Legal Assistant, Probate Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Initiate, maintain, and respond to client communication by phone, email, and text message throughout the client’s probate journey.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule and confirm all in-person and virtual meetings.
- Collect, audit, organize, and prepare documents for all meetings.
- Create, edit, and manage client files for both physical and digital systems.
- Regularly update information in Lawmatics, the firm's CRM tool, including updating matter stages, ensuring assigned tasks are accurate, and saving all relevant email communication to files.
- Update and maintain attorney calendars.
- Receive and scan all mail for clients and distribute accordingly.
- Answer client phone calls to address general questions as needed.
- Perform final audit of client files to ensure accuracy.
- Provide general administrative assistance, including booking conference space and scanning documents.
- Work collaboratively as an important member of the probate team, providing assistance and client coverage as necessary.
Education and Experience Information:
- Experience with probate matters preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft tools is required.
Salary Information:
- Compensation for this position is $45,000.
