Job Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental matters for a wide range of corporate and financing transactions, particularly within the energy sector.
- Oversee environmental due diligence processes for transactions.
- Draft and negotiate environmental provisions in both transaction and financing agreements.
- Prepare environmental disclosure provisions for SEC filings.
- Conduct research and analysis on advanced topics in environmental and energy law.
- Provide counseling on environmental compliance and restructuring.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should have 6-8 years of experience in environmental and energy law, corporate transactions, and environmental regulatory compliance.
- A deep understanding of federal and state environmental statutes is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the energy industry and its regulatory frameworks.
- A comprehensive understanding of the transaction process.
- Strong academic qualifications are required, including a law school transcript.
Salary Information:
- The hiring salary range for this position is between $365,000 and $480,000.
- Compensation depends on the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant, and is aligned with internal pay equity within the law firm.

This role is suitable for a senior associate or junior partner who is well-versed in environmental and energy law, with the capacity to handle complex legal matters within the environmental transactions practice. The attorney will be expected to provide high-level legal counsel and manage significant aspects of environmental law as it pertains to corporate and financing transactions.
