Job Title: Senior Tax Associate - Tax Publishing (National Office)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with drafting internal and external alerts and articles on current developments in federal income tax, including pending legislation, notable administrative guidance, and cases.
- Identify hot topics for alerts.
- Provide writing and research support for alerts and articles authored by others.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on publications and other opportunities.
- Collaborate with the department on webinars.
Education and Experience Information:
- 2+ years of tax journalism and/or federal income tax compliance and consulting experience is required. Experience in a notable tax publication, large law firm, large accounting firm, or IRS is preferred.

- Strong writing skills are necessary.
- Ability to meet deadlines is essential.
- Strong proficiency with tax research databases such as Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, TaxNotes, etc., is required.
- Proficiency and interest in tracking pending legislative developments are preferred.
Salary Information:
For positions in New York City and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $115,000. The salary range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
