- Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks within several units
- Excellent writing skills and professional communication expected
- Legal research and summarization of Appellate and Supreme Court decisions
- Work closely with the Administrative Hearings Unit to assist in processing appeals
- Intern will assist with writing Final Agency Decisions
- Work closely with the immigration unit to assist with immigration issues facing the populations served by the department
- Provide education to local offices and Department employees on immigration topics
- Network with other agencies and stakeholders to ease access to immigration services for clients
- Students interested in an unpaid internship with DCF must submit an inquiry form
