Law firm MoFo is seeking a Patent Support Specialist to join their Patent Support team. This role can be based in various locations across the US, including San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Boston, New York, and Washington, .

About the Role:

The Patent Support Specialist will perform specialized work related to patent prosecution support for assigned clients. This includes providing organizational and substantive support for portfolio management, Information Disclosure Statement preparation, reference checks, filings with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and tracking deadlines. The role also involves monitoring and expediting workflow for assigned clients to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exemplary client service by promoting and modeling the Firm's Client Service Principles.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control by reviewing dockets and correspondence with scrupulous attention to detail.
- Prioritize work effectively, particularly with regards to Information Disclosure Statements and reference check deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed information in data management software and series charts.
- Remain current in industry trends and expand knowledge of procedures and laws related to docketing.
- Ensure expertise in relevant technology and utilize it to improve teamwork, client service, and efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Firm's Confidentiality Policy.
- Adhere to the Firm's safety practices.

About You:

- Minimum of one year of patent experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year of IDS preparation and filing preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent proofreading skills.
- Advanced analytical and information gathering skills.
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive, detailed data.

Salary Information:

The salary ranges for this position may vary based on factors such as local market data, an applicant's skills and experience, and certain degrees and certifications. The application deadline for this position is October 2025.

New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto salary range: $80K to $100K

Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Washington, . salary range: $76K to $95K

Denver salary range: $71K to $89K
