Job Title: Engagement Consultation Manager

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze services and client relationships in light of independence requirements.
- Collaborate with Partners, Principals, Managing Directors (PPMDs), Senior Managers, Lead Client Service Partners, and other client service teams to provide guidance on engagement-related independence matters.
- Address issues arising from client mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs.
- Review client corporate or investment structures to identify affiliates as per independence rules.
- Conduct research and analysis, draft conclusions, and strategize next steps in collaboration with senior team members.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of AICPA, SEC, and PCAOB independence rules and Company Independence policies.
- Interpret and implement regulations related to permissible non-attest services for Company entities, providing advice to client-facing teams.
- Participate in policy setting by researching and drafting communications to enhance awareness and understanding of independence rules.
- Create and revise training courses and materials to address rule changes and new interpretations.
- Work on special projects independently or collaboratively with PPMDs and engagement teams, involving senior members as needed.

Education and Experience Information:

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, compliance, or legal.
- 5 - 8+ years of related experience, preferably in a professional services role and environment.
- Proficient in standard office-productivity tools (., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams).
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 0-10% based on work and clients served.

Preferred:

- Understanding of independence requirements for professional auditing firms.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, analysis, and interpretation of rules and standards.
- Experience in public accounting.
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards.
- . CPA and/or advanced degree in finance, accounting, business, or law.

Salary Information:

The wage range for this role is $114,600-$191,000, considering various factors like skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. Compensation decisions are based on individual facts and circumstances. Additionally, eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program depends on individual and organizational performance.
