Organization is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals for our internship program in our District office. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the world of politics and government, while working alongside our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in public service or politics.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters, and assisting with media clips
• Assisting with constituent case work and district-based projects
• Conducting research on various issues and policies
• Attending meetings and events with staff members
• Providing support to staff members as needed
Requirements:
• Must be a current student or recent graduate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in politics and government
• Knowledge of current events and policies
• Previous internship experience is preferred, but not required
Internship Details:
• Location: District office
• Duration: Flexible, based on academic schedule
• Hours: Flexible, but must be able to commit to at least 10 hours per week
• Unpaid, but academic credit may be available
