Banking & Capital Markets Tax Senior Manager - Full Time - Up to 20% Travel - Job ID 620829WD
PwC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager in the Financial Services Tax practice to provide tax services to clients in the banking and capital markets industry. This individual will be responsible for managing tax obligations and providing strategic consulting in areas such as business analysis, working capital management, and profit sharing for partners. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in the industry. A CPA certification is preferred, and other tax or finance-specific credentials may also qualify for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, including pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.
- Help organisations understand the impact of tax on their business, such as stringent capital requirements, operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Assist clients with tax structuring and navigating the complexities of the constantly changing global tax environment.
- Lead and manage a team of problem solvers, providing guidance and coaching to help them succeed.
- Contribute technical knowledge and expertise in the banking industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, and communicate value propositions.
- Utilize technology and automation to increase efficiency and provide insights to clients.
- Develop new business relationships and sell new services to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking and capital markets industry.
- CPA certification is preferred, and other tax or finance-specific credentials may also qualify for this opportunity.
- Intimate knowledge of tax issues affecting the banking industry, as well as public accounting practices or internal tax departments.
- Technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and experience as a business advisor.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.

Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with the possibility of an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
