Job Responsibilities:
The Paralegal Assistant - Data Clerk at the law firm is responsible for providing essential support to attorneys and paralegals in managing data integrity and organizing case-related information. The core duties include managing, organizing, storing, and analyzing incoming data efficiently while adhering to agreed-upon security standards. The role requires reviewing data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could potentially skew analytical results and maintaining the database. Communication with team members regarding data changes and requirements is crucial, as well as downloading and saving documents into NetDocs. Additional tasks may be assigned, and the position includes a requirement of meeting 1000 billable hours.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with electronic court filings is necessary, and the ability to prioritize workflow and manage time effectively is crucial. While asbestos experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role demands excellent organizational skills and strong oral and written communication capabilities. A high level of professional integrity is required, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust. The ability to lead and motivate others, along with successful management of direct reports when applicable, is important, including performance evaluation, goal-setting, employee development, and problem-solving. Candidates should have 1-2 years of litigation experience, and prior data input experience is required.

Salary Information:
Compensation for the Paralegal Assistant - Data Clerk position at the law firm is commensurate with skill and experience, with exact compensation varying based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. These salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, which is non-guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance.
