Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Claims Manager

Job Responsibilities

The Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Claims Manager is tasked with leading a team of Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Adjusters. This role requires the manager to provide exceptional claims and inquiry service through chat while managing and motivating a team of ten to fifteen adjuster staff or vendors. The manager is responsible for achieving high levels of performance and expert execution of required claim processes. Key responsibilities include:

- Participating in special projects as a subject matter expert.
- Managing and overseeing the performance of vendors.
- Overseeing responses to highly complex arbitration contentions.
- Overseeing the negotiation of highly complex claim settlements.
- Overseeing the resolution of highly complex customer conflicts or issues.
- Analyzing unit reports and supporting the achievement of business unit objectives.
- Defining, analyzing, and tracking department, section, and/or unit measures.
- Reviewing employee work quality and interactions with customers through conducting ride-alongs or sit-alongs and file reviews.

The manager also supports the implementation of operational initiatives that enable the achievement of claim, discipline, claims service area (CSA), and company business objectives. The manager develops strategies to achieve employee performance levels and expert execution of claim processes, monitors staffing levels and workloads, provides coaching and mentoring, participates in performance reviews, manages customer conflicts, and assists with establishing unit goals and objectives. The manager is responsible for delivering compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention.

Education

- 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

- 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position includes supervisory duties, where the manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance and development of the adjuster staff.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
