Job Description:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to resolution
- Interact with clients, answer their questions, and provide updates on the progress of their cases
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law applicable to personal injury cases
- Prepare and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other pleadings
- Manage the discovery process
- Negotiate with opposing parties, insurance companies, and defense attorneys to reach fair and favorable settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of cases, identify potential legal issues, and develop effective legal strategies
- Conduct case evaluations to assess the likelihood of success, potential damage, and risks associated with pursuing a personal injury claim
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within the law firm to ensure effective case management and coordination
Required Qualifications:
