Introduction
**Members Only** is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trial Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to handle a variety of insurance defense cases and provide valuable counsel to business clients. With a focus on advocating for both the insured and the company, this position offers exciting opportunities for trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict.
- Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research for cases.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Interview clients and witnesses and maintain communication records.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assist in updating the legal team.
- Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop legal skills.
Education and Requirements
- .
- 0-4 years of professional work experience.
- Completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis.
- Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in organizing case files and understanding the discovery process.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of legal ethics and standards of professional conduct.
- Familiar with negotiation techniques and strategies.
- Must be able to commute to courthouses throughout the greater New York area.

Compensation
Compensation for this role ranges from $85,600 to $152,650 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
