Summer Associate Internship (Compliance Analyst - Monitoring and Testing) - Vienna, VA (Hybrid)

The Compliance Monitoring and Testing team at organization plays a crucial role in **Members Only**'s Compliance Management System (CMS). As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to support the team in their efforts to validate operational controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as federal and state laws and regulations. You will also have the chance to develop compliance metrics and assist in automation efforts.

Key responsibilities of this role include conducting research on compliance laws and regulations, developing testing scripts, performing testing activities, and analyzing data to identify automation opportunities. This 12-week internship program, beginning in May 2025, offers students the chance to work on impactful projects and gain valuable experience. To be eligible for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research, analyze, and interpret compliance laws and regulations for business unit's testing efforts
Develop inventory of testing scripts for compliance testing
Perform testing activities for assigned topics
Analyze legal and regulatory requirements to identify automation opportunities and develop compliance metrics
Monitor and administer compliance activities, including systems and processes
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Collaborate with project teams and manage timelines, deadlines, and resources

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Operations Analysis, Legal Studies, or related field
Experience in project management and leading project teams
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret regulatory requirements and case law
Knowledge of research methods and ability to effectively present findings and conclusions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in PC applications and internet-based technology
Organizational skills and ability to work independently and as a team member
Experience with data mapping and building requirements
