Position Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel to business owners and executives on a variety of business and corporate law matters
- Maintain and expand client relationships while managing an existing book of business
- Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups to enhance service offerings and cross-market legal services
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to grow the firm's client base
- Mentor junior associate attorneys and contribute to the firm's strategic initiatives
- Stay updated on current business and tax laws and regulations
- Deliver high-level client service

Required Qualifications:

- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to State Bar of Michigan and in good standing
- 7+ years' experience in business and tax law
- Established transferable business required (at least $400,000 annual)
- Excellent writing, legal research, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional client service and business development skills
