As a volunteer at the Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the 36 facilities within the Court's 12 judicial districts. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience and enhance your understanding and appreciation for the judicial system.

Volunteers at the Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles do not receive pay from the Court, but they do have the opportunity to receive aid or benefits as part of a government program. Volunteers are expected to commit to the program for a minimum of 3 months and will be placed on an eligibility list for up to 6 months, giving them the chance to be considered for available opportunities.

To apply for a volunteer position, you must fill out a supplemental questionnaire and specify which program/area you are interested in participating in. You must also indicate your availability and willingness to work in different areas within Los Angeles County. If you are under 18 years old, you must attach proof of eligibility to work (such as a work permit) to your application.

The Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles also offers a for-credit internship program, where participants can receive accreditation or course credit for their work.
